90 pts. Wine Advocate Robert Parker
Slightly superior to the 2005, the 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa possesses a dark ruby/purple color as well as a creme de cassis, spice box, and floral-scented bouquet, and a medium to full-bodied finish. A strong effort, it should drink nicely for 12-15 years.
92-95 Pts. Wine Spectator
Gorgeous aromas of blackberry, crushed raspberry and flowers. Full-bodied, with soft, polished tannins. Very sweet. Layered and very rich. Long finish

2007 Torre De Barreda Tempranillo $12.99
89 pts. Harrywines.com A Sleeper Spanish Red !!
An amazing concentration of red fruits, with a good backbone of tannin and acidity. An excellent Tempranillo, with ripe and clean chunky red fruit but no overripeness or residual sweetness. A wine of great personality.
90 pts. Wine Spectator
White Light and tangy, on the tart side, but polished and refined, offering Asian pear, grapefruit and lime peel flavors that don't quit on the finish. A great aperitif or seafood wine made for drinking young. Serve lightly chilled.
Harryswines.com 90+
This delicious light pink colored sparkler displays fine bubbles loaded with aromas and flavors of sweet cherries and fresh picked strawberries. It is light to medium bodied , lively , fresh and explosively fruity . Wow ! This is great crowd pleaser.
91 pts Wine Advocate
There may be no finer red wine value in Argentina than this superb blend of 48% Malbec, 28% Merlot, 12% Syrah, and 12% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is aged for 11 months, two-thirds in 100% new French oak and the balance in vat and bottled without fining or filtration. Opaque purple-colored, the wine coats the glass while offering up a superb bouquet of toasty oak, violets, mineral, black currant, blueberry, and black cherry. This is followed by a layered wine with gobs of ripe fruit, a plush texture, outstanding balance, and several years of aging potential (not that many buyers will be laying this down). This lengthy effort over-delivers and then some.
90 pts. Wine Enthusiast
The Valpantena Valley produces hearty, structured wines that are usually priced more competitively than those from the Classico zone. Bertani's Villa Arvedi is a case in point. It delivers all the qualities you look for in excellent Amarone: intensity and diversity of aromas such as almond paste, currant berry, Indian spice and deep oak tones. It has polished tannins and a playful note of sour cherry on the finish.

Domaine Galevan Chateaneuf Du Pape 2007
91+ pts. - Wine Advocate - Robert Parker The best wine I have yet tasted from this estate, the inky/ruby/purple-tinged 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape is a blend of 90% Grenache and 10% Mourvedre aged in old oak barrels. A hint of toasty oak is noticeable in the aromatics, which are dominated by black currant and black cherry fruit intertwined with notes of licorice, underbrush, and pepper. Spicy, dense, and full-bodied with superb purity, light to moderate tannin, and a long finish, it will be even better with several more years of bottle age, and will keep for 15+ years.

Robert Mondavi Fume Blanc Napa Valley 2007
91 pts - Wine Enthusiast and Editor's Choice !! Always one of Napa's best Fumé (Sauvignon) Blancs, Mondavi's basic bottling is so good, it tastes like it has some grapes from the famed Tokalon Vineyard. It's a rich, pure wine, brimming with gooseberry, fig, green melon and white pepper flavors, accented with zesty acidity. Great food wine, and a bargain at this price." And, according to Wine Spectator: "Zingy and refreshing, offering a light-bodied, mouthwatering version of lemon-lime, pear, quince, mineral, slate and herb flavors that are focused and intense. Sabor Real Joven Toro 2006
90 pts. Jay Miller - Wine Advocate The Bodegas was started in 2003 and all of the wines are produced from estate owned Tinta de Toro vines, most of them over 80 years of age. The 2006 Toro was aged in French and American oak, 50% new. Purple colored, it has an excellent, slightly roasted perfume with notes of wood smoke, scorched earth, espresso, and blackberry. Full-bodied, fat, and well-endowed on the palate, the wine has gobs of spicy, forward fruit, excellent balance, and enough structure to last for another 8 years. It is a spectacular value in Toro that totally over-delivers for its bargain basement price. This is one to buy by the case.

Layer Cake Shiraz 2008
90 pts Wine Advocate - Robert Parker This was not an easy vintage in Australia, but you would never know it from this wine. As one expects from any South Australian Shiraz, it has oodles of fruit, a big, thick, juicy mouthfeel, velvety tannins, and lots of crème de cassis, blackberry, peppery, and tar-like notes in a deep, full-bodied, lush style that should drink nicely for 3-4 years as well.

94pts. Robert Parker - Wine Advocate
Not surprisingly, the 2006 is a bigger, more muscular, less charming effort displaying unbridled power, full-bodied richness, and notes of new saddle leather, black fruits, roasted herbs, and burning embers. Powerful and rich with sweet tannin, low acidity, and more structure and density than the 2005 as well as less nuance and complexity, the 2006 should be consumed over the next 15+ years.
Color of The Sun
Colores del Sol meaning "Colors of the Sun." is a Malbec that captured the exciting, alluring qualities of the Malbec grape in a wine which utilized modern, high-quality winemaking. The vineyards in Mendoza are among highest in the world.
90 Wine Spectator #78 Top 100 List
Lively and fun to drink, with creamy Asian pear and citrus aromas that lead to crisp, easygoing apple, yeasty cinnamon and mineral flavors. Drink now through 2012.
A Steal for the Price !!
50% Sangiovese & 50% Cabernet Sauvignon. Intense, bright ruby red. The nose is dominated by aromas of cherries and green pepper. Soft tannins with a a meatier body and a fresh finish where hints of cherry jam intertwine with coffee and cocoa. A Real Winner !! Serving suggestion: antipasti, pasta sauces with strong, white and red meats and ripe cheeses.
91 pts. Wine Advocate
The 2006 Cuvee Harmonie proved to be one of the premier sleepers of my Spanish tastings, coming from an unheralded importer and an obscure region. It is a unique blend of 90% Petit Verdot and 10% Tannat aged in French oak for 10 months. Purple/black in color, it offers up a superb aromatic array of wood smoke, leather, underbrush, violets, black raspberry, and blackberry liqueur.
91 pts. Jay Miller Wine Advocate
The 2005 Vinas Centenarias, as the name implies, comes from vines over 100 years of age. Purple-colored, it offers up a complex perfume of pain grille, violets, mineral, spice box, black cherry and blackberry. Bigger, richer, and more sweetly-fruited than its younger colleague.
90 pts Wine Spectator
A muscular red, with concentrated flavors of dark cherry, plum, raspberry tart and grilled fig. The dense finish of dark chocolate is firm and focused, with smoky notes. Best from 2010 through 2014.
Randy Mason Does It Again !!
Inviting citrus, pineapple aroma that lingers seductively. A full, round, refreshing mouthful of grapefruit and figs. This wine is creamy and rich while being crisp and complex. A great wine to pair with spicy Asian fare, raw oysters, seafood and cheese
