Concentrated and very intense, weaving together a harmonious medley of crushed stone, grapefruit and nut flavors. Savory herbs, grass and lime notes highlight a bright, vibrant finish. Drink now. - Wine Spectator
2008 Walter Hansel | Cahill Lane Chardonnay $39.99
94 pts. Robert Parker
The 2008 Chardonnay Cahill Lane (from an old Wente clone) is also a noteworthy bargain. Seriously endowed, full-bodied, and powerful, it is an outstanding success in this vintage. Caramelized orange, candied citrus, and pineapple aromas, a full-bodied mouth feel, and very good acidity as well as concentration suggest this 2008 will age easily for 7-8 years.
89 Pts. Wine Spectator
This ripe and succulent red has a juicy feel to its lively blueberry and plum fruit, hinting at toast and cedar as the finish lingers. This wine is a perfect accompaniment with steak, roast beef and lamb and excellent with pizza and meat based pasta dishes. It is delightful with aged cheddar or pecorino cheeses.

The 2010 Luzon is a blend of 70% Monastrell and
30% Syrah that was tank fermented and aged. It offers up an herbaceous
nose with notes of sage, thyme, blueberry, and blackberry in a jammy,
ripe style. It is an excellent value for drinking over the next 5 years.
90 pts. Wine Spectator
Opulent and exotic, featuring brown rice, slate, smoke and tropical fruit notes. This is an open, fluid white, drier in style than most in this group and higher in alcohol. The submerged acidity reveals itself on the finish, along with a tactil sensation around the gums.

Opus Napa Valley Red 2008
94 pts - Robert Parker - Wine Advocate Not surprisingly, the 2006 is a bigger, more muscular, less charming effort displaying unbridled power, full-bodied richness, and notes of new saddle leather, black fruits, roasted herbs, and burning embers. Powerful and rich with sweet tannin, low acidity, and more structure and density than the 2005 as well as less nuance and complexity, the 2006 should be consumed over the next 15+ years.

Peirano Cabernet Sauvignon Estate 2011
Tasting Notes The rich, dark color of the Peirano Cabernet catches you from the first pour. It exhibits a rich deep burgundy hue with perfect clarity. The aromas are a compendium of dark fruit - blackberry, black raspberry, and currant - with elements of toasty oak, chocolate, dark roasted coffee bean, sage and spices. A sip fills the mouth with blackberry pie, with hints of rich, ripe black cherries, sweet oak and white pepper, while maintaining absolute dryness and firm, yet supple, tannins. This delicious Cabernet is ready to drink now and will continue to age gracefully for the next 6 to 8 years

90 pts Robert Parker
Enticing scents of chocolate, espresso, dark fruit, licorice and new leather emerge from the boisterous 2007 Palazzo della Torre. The fruit is sumptuous as always, but in 2007 Palazzo della Torre is not quite as approachable upon release as it usually is. Another year or two in bottle should help smooth some of the slightly rough edges that are present today. There is enough balance and elegance in the finish to suggest this will drink well for a number of years.
A Steal for the Price !!
50% Sangiovese & 50% Cabernet Sauvignon. Intense, bright ruby red. The nose is dominated by aromas of cherries and green pepper. Soft tannins with a a meatier body and a fresh finish where hints of cherry jam intertwine with coffee and cocoa. A Real Winner !! Serving suggestion: antipasti, pasta sauces with strong, white and red meats and ripe cheeses.
90 Pts. Wine Enthusiast
A beautiful Quebec classic ice cider, with vibrant notes of fresh apple slices drizzled with honey and clove. Round and full in the mouth without being overly heavy and cloying, the tangerine citrus lifts up the sweeter ripe baked apple and superripe stone fruit flavors. Long and immensely satisfying on the finish; a great after dinner sipper for company
91 pts. Jay Miller Wine Advocate
The 2005 Vinas Centenarias, as the name implies, comes from vines over 100 years of age. Purple-colored, it offers up a complex perfume of pain grille, violets, mineral, spice box, black cherry and blackberry. Bigger, richer, and more sweetly-fruited than its younger colleague.
90 pts Wine Spectator
A muscular red, with concentrated flavors of dark cherry, plum, raspberry tart and grilled fig. The dense finish of dark chocolate is firm and focused, with smoky notes. Best from 2010 through 2014.
Randy Mason Does It Again !!
Inviting citrus, pineapple aroma that lingers seductively. A full, round, refreshing mouthful of grapefruit and figs. This wine is creamy and rich while being crisp and complex. A great wine to pair with spicy Asian fare, raw oysters, seafood and cheese
